eSCHOOL SOLUTIONS HIRES CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

 

Orlando, Fla. – eSchool Solutions – the leading provider of administrative technology solutions to the K-12 districts – recently named Chris Bongiovanni as Chief Technology Officer. He is charged with integrating eSchool Solutions’ suite of applications and developing technologies that reduce administrative overhead.

 

“Chris’s experience aligns with our commitment to helping school districts leverage technology to do more with less,” explained Brett Fadeley, eSchool Solutions’ CEO. “His passion for education, knowledge of the marketplace and technical expertise will enable us to elevate our products and services.”

 

Mr. Bongiovanni began his career as a substitute teacher with Orange County (Fla.) Public Schools before becoming a middle school teacher, and later a district technology specialist. Determined to improve administrative productivity, Mr. Bongiovanni moved into the private sector. As Product Manager for Chancery Software, he helped districts such as Metro Nashville Public Schools, Orange County Public Schools and Chicago Public Schools integrate technology to manage student information and facilitate data driven decision making. From there, Mr. Bongiovanni was named Vice President of CrossPointe LLC, a provider of student information systems and enterprise resource planning. He also served as the Director of Operations for Performance Matters and Senior Product Manager for Pentaho, specializing in open-source business intelligence technology for the public sector.

 

Mr. Bongiovanni earned his MBA from Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
