Milestones

eSchool Solutions

was originally founded as Telecommunication Support Systems Inc (TSSI) in 1987. As we continued to grow and combine forces with other technology companies, we changed our name to eSchool Solutions. This name reflects our true focus in education - providing solutions through consulting and multiple technologies. Our technologies now include Web-based applications in addition to telecommunications systems.

 

As a privately-held company, we provide Web-based applications, computer software products and consulting services to more than 29,000 schools in the United States and Canada.

 

2007 - Company celebrates 20th anniversary and its commitment to education since 1987.

 

2006 - Announced SmartFindExpress / SEMS Advisory Council

 

2005 - Released SmartFindExpress, the latest technology in substitute employee management software

 

2005 - Announced Electronic Registrar Online Advisory Council

 

2005 - The Institute for Best Practices announced first in a series of publications

 

2004 - eSchool Solutions in 19 of the 25 largest U.S. school districts

 

2003 - Released Community Education, a new Electronic Registrar Online feature

 

2003 - Introduced Attendance Management service developed by The Institute for Best Practices from eSchool Solutions to assist school districts in proactively managing and reducing costs associated with employee absenteeism.

 

2002 - Released SEMS WebCenter access for teachers, substitutes and administrators

 

2001 - Released our first version of WebCenter, a Web interface to SEMS Advantage

 

2000 - Named to the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Companies for innovation and growth

 

2000 - Released Electronic Registrar Online, our completely automated staff development system

 

1999 - Released Windows NT Call Processor for SEMS Advantage

 

1996 - Released Electronic Registrar, our IVR (telephone) enabled staff development registration system

 

1992 - SEMS Advantage gains widespread use among school districts across North America as a means of automating the substitute calling process.

 

1987 - Company founded, developed SEMS (Substitute Employee Management System), a substitute scheduling system
