Conference Agenda

We developed the 2008 Solutions Summit agenda based on feedback from last year's conference attendees and input from the SmartFindExpress Advisory Council. Look for shorter general sessions, longer breakout sessions, and an entire room set aside for meeting with SmartFindExpress experts! We've also left plenty of time for networking and peer-to-peer interaction.

The 2008 breakout sessions are longer with enough time for questions. And, because you requested it, we're using SmartFindExpress as our training tool in those sessions that focus on feature/functionality. We've designed breakout sessions specifically for System Administrators, HR Administrators & Directors, and IT Professionals.

Keynote Address

We're pleased to announce that Geoff Smith will deliver the keynote address at this year's Solutions Summit.  Geoff is a long-time friend of eSchool Solutions and the Director of the Substitute Teaching Institute at Utah State University.  He is also the principal investigator for STEP-IN (Substitute Teacher Educational Program Initiative), and has served as principal investigator for several other substitute teacher projects. He is the publisher of the Substitute Teacher Handbooks, the SubExchange newsletter, and the SubJournal. Geoff holds an MBA and MA in Educational Economics. He has been actively involved in educator professional development for a number of years.

Meet the Experts

We've taken our Product Area to a whole new level!  This year, we have an entire room set aside for you to meet with SmartFindExpress experts.  Spend some time with Client Services Representatives, Instructional Coordinators, and Quality Assurance team members.  Bring your questions and discover best practices as you learn more about SmartFindExpress features and functionalities.  Our Meet the Experts room will be open throughout the 2-day event.  Appointments are recommended, but not required.   To schedule an appointment, contact Mandi Snyder at 800.776.8774 ext. 221.

SmartFindExpress Training for Intermediate to Advanced System Administrators (April 9, $325 per person) - This class is for the experienced system administrator who wants to know more about the features & functionalities of SmartFindExpress.  Our instructional coordinators will take you through a series of hands-on activities designed to increase your knowledge and maximize your investment.  Participants will receive instructional materials and a certificate of completion.  Click here to access the course description and outline.
